Military Tracking

What is a Defence Tracking System?

A Defence Tracking System is a GPS tracking solution that uses the Global Positioning System to determine the location military assets. The definition of Military assets is effectively anything that moves - for example - people, vehicles, boats and planes. It may also include anything that is regularly transported from one location to another.

Military Assets can often run into hundreds of millions of dollars, so its in the best interest of the government to ensure that it knows the whereabouts of its assets at all times.

Tracking Military Personnel

Defence Tracking isn't just about expensive assets. It's also about the tracking of its employees and the forces on the ground.

Working abroad, in a hostile environment can be very challenging. It is likely that the climate and terrain is very different to what the forces are used to and so its important that the location of troops is information available to a central command post at all times.

It isn't just the risk of coming under fire that is considered with GPS Tracking, it's more common type scenarios such as a convoy becomming stranded, or aid workers getting lost enroute to their destination.

Military Tracking and Defence Tracking Systems can be the difference between life and death.
